Elderberries
(Volunteers ages 55+)
Weekly Adult Volunteers
We believe that positive multigenerational relationships are beneficial for all involved. Our Elderberries volunteer program brings in older generations and deepens our connection to our community while enriching the days of students, teachers and volunteers!
Join us this fall as an Elderberry, an adult volunteer in our Huckleberries (ages 3-5), Salmonberries (ages 6-11), and Wildlings (ages 10-13) classes at St. Edward State Park. Give the co-teachers short breaks during lunch and free play time and spend time with children in the forest in all weather conditions. Grandparents, friends and neighbors who like being around children and the outdoors are encouraged to apply.
